The Whatnot Man Store was born through the insistence from males accompanying their partners to our two ladies shoe stores. After repeatedly hearing, “if you can cater for ladies why can’t you cater for men too”. Their insistence paid off, and the rest they say is history.

Our mission is to build a good name in the shoe industry by providing the latest designs, better quality and durability in our products, and to build a long term relation with our customers by offering our best possible service.

We stock a wide variety of formal and informal shoes. If we do not have your style or size we will source them for you, in the shortest possible time, as our goods are all locally made.

The Whatnot Shoes was started from humble beginnings, when we discovered that there was no decent shoe store in the whole of Plumstead. Today, 13 years later it now serves regular customers, from as far as Johannesburg, Grabouw, Simonstown, Fish Hoek, and the Northern suburbs not forgetting our overseas customers who come to us every time they visit our shores. With the current exchange rate they can really spoil themselves with our locally produced leather goods.
